Disk Atlas Privacy Policy

Disk Atlas is a local-first disk cataloging utility. Its purpose is to help users scan, organize, search and understand the content of their own storage devices.

1. Data Collection

Disk Atlas does not collect, sell or share personal data for advertising purposes.

The app may process local file and folder metadata on your Mac to create catalogs. This may include file names, folder names, paths, sizes, dates, extensions and disk structure.

2. Local Processing

Disk Atlas is designed as a local-first utility. Catalog data is created to help you organize your own files and storage devices. The app is not designed to upload file contents.

3. File Contents

Disk Atlas is intended to index metadata such as names, paths, sizes, dates and types. It is not designed to transmit the private contents of your files.

4. Purchases

Disk Atlas may offer Disk Atlas Pro features through Apple In-App Purchase. Purchases are processed securely by Apple through the Mac App Store. Disk Atlas does not use an external payment system.

5. Analytics and Tracking

Disk Atlas does not include advertising trackers. No advertising tracking is used.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not share cataloged disk data with advertisers or data brokers.

7. User Control

Users can delete local catalogs and app data from within the app where available, or by removing the app and its associated local data from their Mac.

8. Children

Disk Atlas is a utility app and is not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The latest version will be available at https://disk-atlas.click/privacy.php.
